This image is Nina’s expression of Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninoff’s Vespers (a well-known a cappella choral composition) through colour and form. The lighter blue and green colours present in the lower right corner, for example, are consistently associated in her brain with the harmonies and choral writing used by Rachmaninoff in this music.
